Believe it or not, there is no institutional support for my breeding program - not yet at least! Until that changes (don't worry I keep trying, I keep asking..... 42 years of "no", or worse yet outlawing or quarantining the cotton have not stopped me) it remains just us. I am offering some gifts as a thanks for the larger donations- please be sure to put your mailing address in the notes section so that I send the gift to the correct address. All seed cottons are meant for hand spinners and any planting of the seeds must follow local rules and requirements. These are not being sold as planting seeds. I cannot ship seed cotton outside of the USA.

For a $50 donation : 1/4 of an oz of hand spinner’s seed cotton from a rather showy flowering line selected from the “Sierra Sienna” or what I call now “Saffron” breeding line. These are very short seasoned plants with flowers bearing pink and cream striped petals and nice reddish stems with deep green leaves.

For $100 donation : seed cotton as a gift is the Viriditas Farm SeaGreen. These plants are spectacular, with striped pink and cream flowers almost twice the size of normal ones. The plants are stately and bear long, strong and silky green fiber.

The latest items I am seeking help with funding include the fabulous precision weeding system and the electrification of my ag well - formerly diesel powered. And now, the last ask, three new tires for my almost as old as me John Deere high crop tractor.
