Or if you want to play with over dying with natural dyes, the water insoluble tannins in the brown yarns in this ply act as an inside-the-fiber mordant. While the water soluble tannin act as a mordant for the pima off white yarns. Skeins are 7-8 oz in weight and are in a variety of color combinations. I am offering them by primary color options, but they are not necessarily identical to each other. Natural dyers really enjoy these yarns as each natural color of cotton takes the natural dye differently.
