Colorganic® Ornamental Cotton Breeding Club

from 25.00

Want to join my ornamental cotton breeding club? Here are my thoughts so far. First you sign up for being interested, so I get an idea of how many people really want to do this, and get to know what you are interested in working on. Then, prior to paying for the type of cotton that you want to work on and me  sending the selected seeds you must e-mail proof to me that you are ok to grow cotton in your area- that is that if your county has any rules or regulations regarding cotton cultivation in a garden or greenhouse, that you know the rules and can and will follow them. By early to mid April, 2017 I will open the sign up portal for whichever kind of cottons interests you. Want to work on the Sea Island/Egyptian/Pima cottons? Want to work on ornamental red cottons for dried branch arrangements? Want to grow extraordinary flowers that have incredibly long green cotton fibers? Sign up, and I send to you the seeds that you will need to plant. Then we will meet online in a dedicated Facebook group and we collaborate with each other and I can share the knowledge that I have attained from working with these cottons all of these decades. I'll teach you how to make cross pollinations and tell you how to keep track of it all. With the seeds I will send bags and tags for that sort of thing. What do you think?  The $25 "being interested fee" is non refundable, and I reserve the right to select people or places most suitable for the plants. I've never done anything like this before, so this will be the learning curve year.

Seeds will not be sent out until mid April.
